This project was developed for the Federal Police to establish a functional and institutionally strong headquarters in the city of Barreiras, Bahia. With a total built area of 19,698 ft² (1,830 m²), the building was designed to meet operational, administrative, and security demands, ensuring spatial efficiency, secure access control, and environmental comfort.
The architectural concept emphasizes solidity and sobriety, with a prominent façade that reflects the identity and authority of the Federal Police. The layout optimizes circulation for official vehicles, public service areas, and internal operations, ensuring clarity and efficiency in all flows. Strategic use of sun-shading elements and openings allows for controlled natural lighting and cross-ventilation, enhancing the building’s thermal and energy performance.
